Dr. Harrison is the consummate orthopedist/orthopedic surgeon....kind, giving of time, top skill set. Having seen a handful of podiatrists and orthopedists over the last year, I've come to quickly sort the good from the bad, and Dr Harrison is not just good, but excellent.
From the beginning I was greeted and had the pleasure of working with Dr. Harrison's assistant, Laura, who is top-notch at what she does....a very kind and sweet person, who like Dr Harrison, gives so much time and attention. Laura worked hard to work me in for a next day appointment, as well as navigating/assisting with my referrral. I am beyond grateful for the quick appointment time, since I was/am in so much pain. Laura is genuine, warm and thorough. She was a superb first point of contact at this lovely practice.
The office itself is exceedingly clean and spacious, quiet and modern, yet comfortable. Dr. Harrison is an excellent listener and never rushes. He demonstrated excellent communication and skill set, and he is the kind of rare doctor who truly cares and listens to patients first, without talking over them. He discussed several plans of care with me and made sure i understood my options, x-rays and diagnosis. As a longtime nurse myself, I trust Dr. Harrison completely with my upcoming surgery. He is the whole 9-yards on what it means to be great doctor. I highly recommend! The whole office is wonderful, Laura and other staff inclusive.
